Crochet Flower Bouquet and Grey's Anatomy

Hello there! Today we're talking about crocheting and tv shows. My go to show when I'm crocheting is Grey's Anatomy. I've seen it a million times and will keep watching it a million times. It is absolutely not the best medical show or the most realistic but it's a classic and full of drama. It's quite shocking that it still is going on too. Typically, when I crochet, I like to put something on that is background noise. With as many times as I've seen this show, I could watch it without sound and still be able to perfectly hear everyone's voice. So, it's my no need to focus show while I instead focus on my speed. If you don't care about my rant, feel free to skip this divided section to hear about crocheting!

I'm currently on season 10 of my rewatch. For those of you that know the show, that's when Bailey is born and Arizona cheats on Callie. I absolutely HATED that they made that a story line. They were doing so well and then they had to force some drama in and bring back the issue with her leg. After everything and making Arizona say to Callie not to leave her! I mean come on. I wish they would've changed that. My favorite seasons of Grey's are probably the first few ones and when Lexi comes in. I love Lexi and was so shocked when she was killed off. I remember watching the whole crash episodes and being completely thrown by what happened.

I've seen this show so many times I need a new background noise show. I was thinking of rewatching Addison's spin off show, Private Practice. I finally got around to finishing it last year and it made me appreciate Amelia so much more. If you haven't seen it and are a fan of Grey's, I definitely recommend it!

Now when I rewatch Grey's, I hardly ever go through the newer seasons. I typically stop when Alex leaves, as I hate that story line as well. I get the actor wanted to leave the show but at that point I would've been fine if he had been killed off the show. What that did to Jo, and right after they just got remarried too! It was ridiculous. I am aware of what happens in the new seasons with her but since those are a lot newer no spoilers here!

If you stuck around this far, drop a comment on your least favorite story line of Grey's Anatomy and let's discuss!

Right now, when I watch Grey's I'm crocheting a bouquet of flowers which I'll show below for you. I originally made these for my mom for Mother's Day. Which was probably my third project that I simultaneously made while working on my second project. (Still haven't finished the Grogu btw) I'm making more of these cause they are pretty fun to make and I'm hoping to do a little pop-up market some time in summer. It'll be my first one and I am already prepared to not make anything lol. As I know first markets don't typically do that well. Each of these flowers I found on YouTube. I'll be sure to link each on at the end. I would say they were all pretty beginner friendly and if you're not a beginner the written pattern is available in the comments so you can skip some of the basic info. Each of the flowers are on a wooden skewer that I hot glued green yarn around to make a stem. I would say the daisies are the easiest to make if you're experienced and the pink and blue flowers are easy if you are a beginner. Those, the tutorial called puff flowers but to me they kind of remind me of carnations. Those of you that are more knowledgeable about flowers are welcome to let me know what they actually look like lol. These are all no sew patterns, so they are perfect for beginners. If you were like me and hated sewing cause you didn't know how, just hot glue them instead! The carnations can be sewed, which I tried for my second attempt at them, and I finally got it! All in all, I think for a first attempt at flowers these came out great! They're super cute and won't ever die on me 😆 Today's Questions:

  • Which crochet flower is your favorite?

  • Have you ever made any flower bouquets?

  • Who's your favorite Grey's Anatomy character?
